Railroad Engineering

The Alaska Railroad plays a central role in transporting freight and passengers throughout the Alaska railbelt. For decades, TNH has been providing railroad planning and engineering of the Alaska rail system including our specialized expertise in track design, terminals, stations, parking facilities, bridges and tunnels. In 2005, TNH-Hanson, LLC, a joint venture between Tryck Nyman Hayes, Inc. and Hanson Professional Services Inc., was established. These two firms combined to provide a unique combination of Alaska railroad expertise and a national railroad design firm with a proven history of engineering design solutions for every major railroad in North America.
